The subject of this paper is the relationship of man to technology and the internet. The work consists of five parts. The first three are the theoretical part based on the bibliographic review. The first part focuses on the characteristics of the digital age, with the main issue of digital illiteracy. The second part focuses on the character and evolution of the knowledge and information society. The third part deals with the developments during the fourth industrial revolution that man is going through. The last two parts concern the research part of the work. The fourth part describes the design of the research methodology and the fifth shows the results of the research. The discussion and conclusions follow. The purpose of the research was to identify the level of digital skills of Greek users as well as the nature of their relationship with the internet and related digital technologies. Within this framework, the main research questions are:
What is the level of digital skills of Greek users?
What is their relationship with technology?
