It has always been in the nature of man that the conquest of the ethers. Historically the first flight was made in 1903 by the Wright Brothers. The aviation industry has a cyclical profitability trend. Particularly in tourist areas such as Greece during the summer months the demand for tickets increases. It should be noted that air transport is an industry with low profit rates due to increased competition. Due to increased competition, airline companies in 1978 began to enter into alliances so they can withstand it. An important event occurred in May 1986 on the Dublin-London route, following pressure from passengers to reduce prices after that on the itinerary, new companies such as Ryanair entered, as well as price competition. In recent years, low-cost airlines have emerged as a result of competition. In Europe, the two main low cost airlines are Ryanair and EasyJet, which offer a safe trip at very affordable prices. Air transport has also contributed to the economy by transporting goods and reducing time between distances between different cities and countries. The purpose of this paper is to analyze aviation economics and develop them over time.
