Abstract

It is well known that the development of technology and the global web is no longer limited to desktops but has been extended to the sector of portable devices, for which recently the interest has been concentrated in introducing new technologies. It is underlined that in the developing countries the number of users having access to information through their mobile devices has increased significantly as their use is a given need for the time. So, following the trend of the era, this thesis has been focused on building a website and developing two applications, one on Android and one on ios providing information about the "offered jobs" on the market, an up-to-date issue that attracts the interest of a large proportion of our population. Implementation of the above required the use of technologies HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL-Java Swift 4 and Adroid and ios operating systems. It must be noted that Fire Cloud Messaging was used to send notifications to Adroid devices. The encouraging optimal results create expectations for this application to be rolled into productive and further expanding it by developing, notification in ios, also web notification using FCM Web, and adding another category with "suggested" jobs as will result from the processing of data that deals with the personalized interests of the users.
