The purpose of the thesis is to investigate the views of blind students about their introduction to an Educational Institution. This study covers the subject of the introduction of blind people in higher education and issues concerning accessibility, legal framework, support and educational needs. Moreover, emphasis is given to the factors that affect the successful academic career, education, face educational problems and management readiness of blind students from educational institutions. In research, the purpose of the work was served by the collection of 4 interviews by students with total vision loss attending Educational Institutions in Athens. The sample consisted of 75% (3) men and 25% (1) women, mean age 22.75 years. Analysis of interviewed data revealed that blind students expected a high level of support from the Educational Institute when they were introduced to it, but remained moderately satisfied with the real conditions encountered with problems in accessibility, movement, the lack of supportive technology and equipment. Although it was noted that the role of the Secretariat was supportive but on issues such as records, statements and notes. In addition, there was a non-updating of a Guide for Admitting Blind Students, no recording of training needs and problems when introducing to the Educational Institution. Also, overall, students are very satisfied with the Education Staff, moderately by the Secretariat, the Services, the Administration, the lessons, the exams, the educational material, the equipment and the spatial planning and less for the classrooms. More specifically, there was a lack of information and support services on food, housing, transportation and escorts, the lack of support technologies and equipment, the lack of adaptation of teaching, the difficulty of attending the lessons, the difficulty in finding notes, the oral examination or the reading of exams, non-Braille use and lack of training in it, proper spatial planning difficulties in accessing indoors and outdoors (classrooms , library, restaurant, etc.) due to access problems, the use of elevators and no soundtracks. Moderate satisfaction with the introduction of blind students into Educational Institutions has been demonstrated. Feedback element of Educational Institutions to solve problems aimed at improving the education system for smooth introduction and integration into the academic community.
