Nowadays, businesses are confronted with a phenomenon that has become particularly broad, that of globalization. The conditions created by this phenomenon, on the one hand offer opportunities for entrepreneurship, but on the other hand they might threaten less-flexible businesses. The structure of societies and the political and economic conditions, in the context of globalization, are in conflict with the continuous interplay of global markets. Domestic market competition combined with internal saturation are the main business reasons for extroversion and “foundation” of new markets. The countries selected for FDI are countries under development. The Republic of Serbia is such a destination, which can combine important opportunities in commercial framework, mainly because of its geographical location and low investment costs while the low labor costs compared with a lot of developed countries, coupled with investment incentives for foreign direct investment provided by the Government of Serbia, are attracting more and more investment in the country. An investment in Serbia, however, would need to take place within high exploration by the executives of businesses and with particular attention ", as this market holds many dangers, which can cause irreparable damage to “inattentive” businesses.
