Education plays a vital role in a country’s economic prosperity as it comprises the most significant human resource. Entrepreneurship is also linked to a nation’s social and economic growth and is responsible for the creation of numerous job openings. Educational entrepreneurship assists pupils in fully developing their potentials in an effort to fulfil a successful private life along with a fulfilling professional career. Furthermore, it dynamically fosters their attainment of precious knowledge, capabilities, expertise, proper values and other skills essential for the smooth passage from school to the labor market. On the one hand, the current essay aims at highlighting the importance of education in cultivating to the pupils the appropriate business-like behavior, attitudes, skills and competencies in order to encourage a creative and innovative thinking on their part. On the other hand, it attempts to tackle the thorny question of whether entrepreneurship education can contribute in an efficient manner to weather the continuing economic crisis.
