This thesis is divided in three sections (chapters): 1)theoretical
establishment, 2) analisation of the methothology that was used for carrying
out the present study, 3) the formulation of results and conclusions deriving
from the study.
First of all, in the introduction , the need of conducting such a study,
the innovative characteristics and the purpose of it, are considered. The
issues that are set to an answer are also presented here.
In the second section we are attempting the theoritical establishment
of the chosen subject : a technologically supported educational intervention
of diversed teaching for 4th grade pupils. The title is ‘’Learning an looking
after our body’’ an is based on the motivation model ‘’ARCS’’. In particular,
this section deals with the subjects of distance learning (technologically
supported educational intervention) , emotional factors of learning ( ARCS
motivation model) and the strategies of developing motivation as part of the
collaborative learning (diversed teaching).
In the third part, there is an analysis of the methodology of the current
thesis. More specifically , the purpose , the semantics and definitions used ,
the statistic sample, the planning of the scenario, the chosen means for
collecting data and the criteria on which the statistic analysis is based are
specified.
In the fourth and last chapter of the thesis , there is the results of the
t-test for a sample, and the correlation factor Spearman , based on the
questions set by the study.
Finally the conclusions made are presented , accompanied with some
suggestions for further study.
