Abstract

This study attempts to present the field of Digital Health, its major areas and applications for optimal provision of personalized health care. It presents eHealth, mHealth, Telemedicine, Sensors and Wearables Devices, and both Electronic Health Record (HER) and Electronic Medical Record. Finally, an attempt is made to give an overview of Telemedicine through the initiative of the Vodafone charity foundation to support Greek citizens who live in remote areas, to have free access to high-level specialized health services.
