The problems faced by modern businesses in finding and attracting talented candidates are particularly intense nowadays and have a significant impact on the survival and consequently on the effective operation of businesses. The challenges and threats of the external environment, technology advances, rapid communications developments, and the speed of information transfer and exchange require more flexible decision-making and more modern management practices throughout the enterprise value chain, let alone the sector of attracting high-level employees. The topic of this project is: "The innovative policies of Human Resources Management with an emphasis on the recruitment process". This theme has been selected with the main purpose of investigating whether the methods used by Greek companies to attract the right human resources are related to innovative and / or traditional practices. For this purpose, initially, a brief reference is made to the functions of the Human Resources Management. Then, we present the methods of attracting and selecting Human Resources. In particular, the innovative methods and policies applied by enterprises are studied and the advantages and risks from the use of innovative recruitment methods based on available literature and published research. Subsequently, two-business case studies are thoroughly investigated to determine whether and to what extent they apply innovative methods in the recruitment process, the risks they face, and how they perceive the need to adapt to innovative practices. From the commentary on the findings of the interviews with experienced executives of these companies with the help of a semi-structured questionnaire, it is clear that these companies have realized the problem of the recruitment process and are
trying to apply any method, as traditional as and innovative aligned with the profile of the candidates.
