This diploma thesis is part of the graduate program in Department of Banking and Financial Management of University of Piraeus. The subject of this study is the banking sector and more specifically common trends in banking concentration.
In this study we try to analyze the concentration of the banking system and common trends which are create. In the research were used data from the World Bank and more specific data from 35 OECD countries. Our data relate to the period from 1996-2014 and was analyzed the bank concentration of the banking system for each country.
