Prediction replacement for ATM and ΑΤΜ with deposit (ATM BNA)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is the design and development of an information system that will process bank transactions to provide provision for the supply of ATMs in which we can withdraw and deposit cash (ATM, BNA ) . The main application of information system intends to give the user the ability to manage a large amount of data through a graphical interface , safely and effectively and to export useful conclusions about the flow of money. Moreover, the whole system includes corresponding database that stores information such as withdrawal amounts , deposit amounts , number of transactions , etc. In this study we examined , analyzed and presented the results for three ATMs that accept deposits and withdrawals in areas of Athens , Thessaloniki and Larissa for March 2012, October 2012 and July 2012 respectively. The data presented in this paper emerged through interviews to the bank of Citibank and modified with fixed variables that the sample is representative yet not published the actual transaction data . For the analysis of the data there used the prediction methods of simple moving average, a weighted moving average and single exponential smoothing. Moreover, the use of prediction errors provide us with the reliability of the methods. For the design of the application there used the C # programming language for Windows and the technique of object oriented programming. The whole application was built by using the program Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and the architecture offered by the development model MCV (Model View Control). For communication between the user and the database there will be used the system MySql, a very fast and powerful database management system which uses Sql (Structured Query Language), a language interactive Q & A , fourth generation .
