Η διοίκηση στις συνεργατικές επιχειρήσεις, ένα εναλλακτικό μοντέλο διοίκησης
The main target of this thesis is the analysis of the management in the worker cooperatives. The presence of an alternative model of management in relation with all these facts that happen, as we know, in the conventional-capital businesses. Trying to show that there is and another way, in order to create new jobs, which is more democratic and serves all the worker’s interests and not the capital’s and the major shareholders’. Initially, it is represented what is cooperative and workers cooperatives. Also what is the main differences between the cooperative and the workers cooperative. Moreover in the thesis, it is analyzed the management of a worker cooperative. What is the structure, the way that decision are made, the education that exists in the company, the way that the revenue and the salaries are shared in the company incentives which are given and what is the behavior of workers- states of the worker cooperative. In addition, it is represented and analyzed the workers cooperatives both the Rainbow Grocery in San Francisco of the United States of America on how it has been created, the structure that has been followed and the training program of the personnel, and the worker cooperative of US Premium Beef which is based in Kansas and deals with the production of beef meat. Finally, in the end of the thesis, the conclusions that we extract from the whole thesis are represented. The thesis concludes with the presentation of the relevant literature.
