Greece because of its geographical position has rich solar resources, so that the operating condition, of this source of energy is excellent for the Greek economy and society. In recent years the growth in the energy sector has attracted several private investors to invest their funds in photovoltaic systems (P / V) throughout the Greek territory. The present study aims to evaluate the financial - engineering analysis for the construction of a photovoltaic park in Greece, look at the structure of the solar sector and the market and the benefits from the investor side. The first part is a theoretical reference to unravel and understand the concepts of investment and financial- engineering studies as well, through the definition and analysis of them. Then we have the emphasis to the Greek society to green growth through Renewable Energy Sources (RES). It becomes wide analysis for photovoltaic (P/V) systems and their applications. The third part analyzes the market structure and industry of investment, through the SWOT and PEST analysis and the external environment. Finally, through the analysis of the break-even point and the business plan is given the evaluation of the new investment and we draw the conclusions.
