The present study aims to study the motivating factors of the citizens of the European Union for searching work in Greece after the crisis in Europe. Human resources are the most important resources of an organization, the performance of which largely depends on the success and performance of an organization, especially in times of crisis (Armstrong, 2006, Johanson, 2009). Attracting prospective employees to work in an organization depends on both internal and external factors. In times of crisis and general uncertainty, workers primarily seek to work in organizations that are distinguished for their consistency and stability over time (Kernisky, 1997).
More specifically, the dissertation consists of the theoretical part, in which the concept of human resources is analyzed, the valuable importance of its proper management, as well as the sources of staff recruitment, as well as the factors that affect staff recruitment. In addition, the causes of the economic crisis are being studied, as well as the situation prevailing in the Eurozone, but also in Greece, the labor market and the prospects for increasing employment, as well as hiring workers from the European Union in Greek companies.
Regarding the practical part, the methodology of the research is first analyzed, explaining and justifying the choice of each method. Then, the results of the initial research that was carried out are presented and the research findings are analyzed. Finally, the main findings of the research are summarized, the main conclusions are drawn, which emerged from the research, as well as suggestions for future research.
