The present work deals with the concept of multiculturalism. Greek society has, in recent years, been confronted with different cultures. This social change has brought to the fore issues that need to be resolved. On this term and in addressing the problems posed by the Greek state, it has taken some measures based always on the principles and suggestions of the European Union and other international organizations such as UNESCO. This change began to involve the entire educational community, which seems to understand the need for changes in institutionalization. Primary school teachers in the prefecture of Evia, despite their general lack of education in intercultural education, they seem to understand the particular circumstances that have arisen and try to adapt to them for the harmonious coexistence, acceptance and cognitive well-being of all students.
