Modern businesses survive in a constantly changing environment and have to provide strategies in order to cope with the high competition and globalization. However, it is important for businesses to adopt and implement strategies that are consistent with the objectives and vision in order to maintain a competitive advantage in the market. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of their strategies at all stages of implementation. The international literature suggests a number of strategic assessment tools which present special characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. The most widespread method is Balanced Scorecard, which is considered the most effective one based on the factors and targets involved. In this dissertation specific case studies of different strategy evaluation methods in the non-alcoholic beverage industry will by studied.
