In this thesis we will illustrate the meaning of strategy and the key which lies beyond for the companies to become more competitive by the correct use of the strategy. In Chapter 1 we analyze the meaning of strategy and how it can boost the performance of the companies. In Chapter 2, we discuss about the strategic innovation and why it’s crucial nowadays. Moreover, we analyze the meaning of the blue ocean strategy, how companies can escape from red oceans with an appropriate way, a correct approach of this strategy and finally a case study that shows us that blue ocean strategy can be the missing link for the companies to become leaders in their domain.
